Single-Item Transport and Store-to-Home Delivery

Many village houses require items to be lifted to the upper floors. NLT uses ropes and the right manpower to pull up items over the balcony and into floors above the ground level and roof.

Furniture Assembly and Handyman Support

Flat-pack assembly and reassembly for beds, wardrobes, shelving, and more. IKEA, Taobao and other brands of furniture can be assembled according to your needs.
Secure anchoring to walls where appropriate. Shelves, TVs, ceiling fans and more. Whatever needs to be kidproofed or bolted down for safety, let us know and we’ll advise you for arrangement.
Removal of used furniture bought second hand and placement arranged in new locations. Relocation to include disassembly, protection during moving and reassembly.

Disposal and Eco-Friendly Removal

Safe removal and dumping of old furniture and appliances. House clearances and subsequent reinstatement work such as wall filling and painting can be completed by NLT.
Donation or recycling coordinated when possible. If you wish to donate furniture, soft furnishings, appliances and clothes amongst other items, we’d suggest you try Crossroads Foundation — a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation serving global need, linking those who are in need with those who can provide help. We can also arrange delivery to Crossroads.

International removals require multiple numbers of smaller moves and considerations for packing that provide protection throughout container packing and ocean going journeys. Think of it as a series of smaller moves on separate modes of transport. As such, the goods to be moved need an enhanced level of protection and packing over the usual, domestic, one day move.

NLT has experience in packing and preparing furniture for international moves and together with forwarders of your choice or ours you will get instruction on how to prepare possessions and what paperwork to prepare. Your Gateway to Discovery Bay, South Lantau and Tung Chung

Villages like Mui Wo, Pui O, Tong Fuk, and Tai O sit behind a closed road network — vehicles need a valid South Lantau Closed Road Permit to enter. NLT holds the permit and runs compliant vehicles, so your move goes ahead legally and on schedule, with routes planned around ferry timetables and village road conditions.

Discovery Bay is accessible only to light goods vehicles, which pay a tunnel fee and vehicle registration fee on entry (passed on at cost where DB is part of your job). Cars are not allowed in DB — you’ll need a mover with a commercial vehicle, like NLT.
